Dear Woodland Hills School District Community,
I am honored and excited to officially begin my journey as the Superintendent of the Woodland Hills School District. It is a privilege to serve the students, families, educators, and community members of our 12 vibrant communities, and I am eager to listen, learn, and collaborate with each of you in the weeks and months ahead.
As I step into this role, my priority is to engage with all stakeholders—students, families, teachers, staff, and community partners—to better understand our district’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities. Through open dialogue and shared commitment, I believe we can cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement—one that sets a new standard for excellence throughout Western Pennsylvania and beyond.
My vision for the Woodland Hills School District is built upon five key pillars:
- Safety: A safe and supportive learning environment is essential for student achievement. We will prioritize the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our students and staff to create schools where everyone feels secure and valued.
- Student Success: Every student deserves a high-quality education that prepares them for success in college, careers, and life. We will work to ensure that our students are not only competitive in the workforce but also prepared to be creators, innovators, and leaders in their chosen paths.
- Open Communication: Transparency is essential in fostering trust and collaboration. I am committed to keeping our community informed and engaged in the decision-making process, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.
- Community Engagement: Strong relationships between the district and the community are the foundation of student success. I look forward to working alongside parents, teachers, staff, and community members to create a united front in supporting our students.

Most importantly, our collective efforts must center on providing our students with the knowledge, skills, and insights necessary to thrive in an ever-changing world. By working together, we can ensure that many of our students return to our communities, contributing to their growth and vitality.
